Deleting a Remote Backup
1. On the Remote Backup screen, under Remote Backup Jobs, click the Delete button
next to the job you’d like to delete.
2. In response to the confirmation message, click OK. The selected Remote Backup job
is now deleted and removed from the Remote Backup Jobs list.
Internal Backups
Internal backups allow you to make backups of the existing content from one storage
location to another on your WD My Cloud EX2 device.
Creating an Internal Backup
Use the following steps to back up your WD My Cloud EX2 internally.
1. On the navigation bar, click Backups to
display the Backups screen.
2. Click Inter
nal Backups, if not already selected.
3. Enter the following information to create a USB backup job:
Job Name Enter a Job Name for your internal backup.
Source Folder Click Br
owse and select the folder you'd like to back
up.
Destination Folder Click Br
owse and select the destination folder for your backup.
